A Smile and a Back Rub

“Just as most people in prison don’t think they belong there, so most of us can’t imagine we deserve Hell. But when as last we begin to grasp that we do deserve it, we can then praise God for his grace on a far deeper level”

Just a thought I had never thought but now that Randy Alcorn’s book Ninety days of God’s Goodness, brings it to light..I can’t get it out of my head. A devotional with scripture and prayer included in each day this devotional is more than just fluffy goodness. Randy’s reflection on God’s plan for your life, my life and where to turn when life isn’t all good. A journey that doesn’t have to start on page one. Powerful wisdom is brought to light with his daily scripture and prayer for the reader with in depth insight from people like Helen Keller and Darrell Scott.

I found myself reading more than just the daily assigned reading. While reading I thought about what a great gift this book would be for several family and friends who need a boost up, a helping hand, and a smile with a back rub. This book is just that.
I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.
