This summer we had a birthday party up at the cabin. Little Bit was turning the big five -OH me oh my. Now when on vacation, you don't want to be doing a lot of cooking and cleaning up. So here is my tip for the day. Find a good pound cake. Buy three when they are on sale and put them in the freezer for when you need a dessert in five minutes. Purchase one can of your favorite frosting. Again, get them on sale and stock up. Now, pop the cake out of the freezer, let sit out about 20 minutes. Frost cake with your favorite icing. Place the candles in it and enjoy cake. NO, Don't eat the candles. The end. Cheaper than a store bought cake. Well the pound cake is a store bought cake, but cheaper than the bakery store bought cake with the the fluffy icing and roses and stuff.

Of course we had a few gifts... and had a tea party up at the cabin.
And she shared her tea with her favorite Tea party guest. But he isn't a part of the other tea party... oh you know.... the political one.
